Han® powers up
HARTING Han® Connectors are used in many areas of the power generation and distribution grid in the US. Mainly used in low voltage control systems that control medium and high-voltage circuit breakers and switchgear, the power industry relies on Han connectors for trouble free connections that reduce space requirements and make installation and maintenance simple and error free. This translates to large cost savings for the equipment manufacturer and the end-user.
The HAN connector family includes multi-pin connectors with robust, high-density inserts to 216 contacts, modular connectors that allow the combination of power and signal contacts in a single connector. Coax, fiber-optics, high-current (to 650 amps) and a full line of ethernet connectivity for communications gives the power distribution industry a simple and cost effective alternative to hard wired conections.
Han® helps to protect the grid
HARTING Han® Connectors are used in High Voltage gas insulated switchgear in the control circuits. A typical application would include D, DD, and E inserts along with standard, and EMC hoods and housings and Han Snap ® products for inside cabinets.
