AdvancedTCA® Power connector

The AdvancedTCA® Power connector offered by HARTING is designed according to the PICMG 3.0 specification and is used in the „Zone1“ section of the ATCA backplane and daughter card.
The connector includes 8 power contacts (AWG size 16) and 22 signal contacts (AWG size 22). Four contact positions are not populated in the standard ATCA configuration. The current carrying capacity of the power contacts is up to 16 A.
The backplane connector is a straight female version, the daughter card connector is a right-angled male version. The backplane and daughter card connectors are fitted with press-in termination contacts. Both can be pressed-in with a flat rock tool due to the form of their insulation bodies. Additionally, the connectors are equipped with a guiding receptacle or a peg.
